OUR MISSION
Vaginal infections are common.
Every year, more than 900 million women suffer from bacterial vaginosis and/or vulvovaginal candidiasis. [1,2]
But diagnosis is a mess.
66% of women misdiagnose their yeast infection. [3]
42% of women are misdiagnosed by an OB/GYN. [4]
At Shealed, we want to put an end to this.

We are developing a home diagnostic test to detect active bacterial or yeast vaginal infections, delivering discreet, rapid, and accurate results.
Helps determine whether over-the-counter treatment is appropriate.
Reduces the risk of misdiagnosis and unnecessary treatment.
Enables safe and discreet self-assessment from the comfort of home.
Identifies the infection causing the symptoms – bacterial, yeast, or mixed.
